Zeke (formerly Andy)

We adopted our kitten, Zeke (formerly Andy) during the recent Clear the Shelter event. Zeke is doing incredibly well and is meshing with our 6 year old Snoopy. Snoopy has been grooming and playing with the little guy.

Our son loves Zeke and plays with him every day. He is thrilled that Zeke cuddles and seeks him out for attention.

Milton

Everyday we have progress in the right direction. Milton is out with us much of the time, claiming ownership of other areas of our apt - Daddy's bed, Daddy's recliner, etc. Here he is chilling on the living room rug while we watch TV. 

He is such a smart cat and so affectionate. Please tell Manny things are going very well here. 

Boston

Boston is doing fine and dandy.  He's a big boy!!  He loves being petted for sure. I tried having him sleep with me, but he liked waking me up at 2, 3 or 4am, so he doesn't anymore.  Last night was the first night that he didn't.  He meowed just a little bit.  I'm on my laptop right now and he's looking up at me.  He does sit on my Dad's lap a couple of times of day, which makes Dad happy. 

He is so handsome!!! 

Ginger

Just a few pictures of Ginger in her new home! She's gotten used to it very fast! She's eating and sleeping well. It didn't took too long for her to become a little cuddle ball. 

Lola

Lola has quickly become very comfortable in her new home already. She has her spots to snooze and eagerly waits for any one who comes up the stairs to greet her.  Purchased a scratching post with a canopy bed at the top. Well she uses the scratching posts but is much more interested in playing in the box it came in! Brought in some fresh cat mint which she is so funny .. tearing though the hall way at high speed.

Lola is so sweet.. Family and friends that have come over think she is the most adorable kitty.

Besides playing with us .. she enjoys looking out at our birds at the feeders.. and squirrels too..

Benson and Hugo

Benson and Hugo have not had any issues with adjusting to their new home and their new buddy, George! The

y love their new room with a view.... and the rest of the house also.

Leo (aka Prince)

Leo (aka Prince) is crazy!!!

He has sooo, sooo much energy!!

More than your average kitten!!

He is INTO EVERYTHING!!

LOL!!

So he was in his own room for a few days. Then we started the introductions to Phinny. Phinny hissed and growled big time for a couple of days, Leo just walked right by him, like it never happened. The first time he did that, I just looked and John and said "DID YOU SEE THAT!".  But....the first night, Phinny was hissing and growling like crazy and Leo just walked around the house, got the lay of the land, and all of a sudden started RUNNING LAPS around the whole house. Oh my goodness!! We walked behind them and followed them for the first hour to be sure no one got hurt. But this cat is so fast even when he's walking, that we realized there is no way Phinny could even catch him even if he wanted to hurt him. Phinny did NOT like the idea of Leo at first but it hasn't been that long at all. It's only been a week. But he's starting to adjust to the fact that Leo is here to stay.

 Leo is living up to his breed write up. He is light as a feather and can jump really high and DOES. He jumps onto everything. John said the mail and papers and other things were all knocked off the dining room table onto the floor the other morning.And he shredded the paper towels I had for clean ups upstairs. I saw him jump up onto the dvd cabinet and almost knock down my china cat and candle sticks.When I came home the other night, things were shuffled around on my dresser, he had been up there and his bag of dry food which was on a very high cabinet was knocked over onto the floor. I now have it in a sealed Tupperware container which is on the floor every day but not opened. LOL!! Last night we saw that he completely shredded the toilet paper in my bathroom. We have to remember to keep the bathroom doors closed now. I don’t even want to see what happens if he discovers toiletwater.   J  He just walked across my keyboard. I'm telling you, he is into everything I mean EVERYTHING. He jumps up on us and walks across slowly to get a couple of pets but then keeps on moving. This cat is going to make us much neater and I think a little younger. And it can't hurt Phinny either.

               

I can’t be happier about that.

So you know, I am laughing the whole time I am writing this. This cat is staying! He is just so much more cat than we ever knew we were getting. And it’s making us laugh.    

Wendy (Evie)

Angel

Angel is really enjoying his new home. He is friendly to everyone he meets, and he loves to play with his toys and look out the window at all the interesting wildlife. 

Angel is such a sweet kitty, and he is such a great addition to my family. I've decided to keep the name "Angel," it suits him well.

Starr

I just wanted to send you guys a quick update on miss Starr. She has really settled in, and has sincerely become my best friend. She falls asleep next to me at night, hangouts out with me in the afternoons, and constantly wants to play!

Tigress

Tigress is doing great and has been very comfortable here.We're very happy to have her here

Frankie

We wanted to give you an update about Frankie. He has adjusted well (he is not very shy), and we have fallen head over heels in love. He is a smart, loving kitty and we are very grateful to have found him. He truly is the master of the house.
