Justine

Justine is doing well. She has been getting along with the family. She gotten use to the house being empty during the day, but has been eager to welcome all whom enter every day. As we enter 2018, I look forward to the upcoming year.

Dahlia

Dahlia has opened up to her new home very well. After hiding under the bed at first, she gradually came out and jumped onto the bed to snuggle.  During the night, she would get down to explore the house then come back to snuggle.  After all the excitement, she is curled up for a long winter's nap this morning.  She is so wonderful and will have a lifetime of happiness in her new home. 

Junior (a.k.a Leo)

 We adopted Junior a few weeks ago and he is perfect!  Just the right ratio of cuddly and playful.  We actually re-named him Leo (on account of his July birthday). 

The first few days he hid a lot but has since come out of his shell and loves playing with his best buds Beth and Kate!!

Andrew

Well it's been one year since I got Andrew from you. He is doing great and we have a good time together. I'm so glad I found him,he has made my life better and I hope I have done the same for him.

Blossom

We adopted Blossom this past Saturday. She has acclimated to our house already, and is a sweet and lovable kitty. 

Sunny a.k.a Camdden

Camden now called “Sunny” has made himself at home and is very comfortable and well taken care of.

We also learned that he enjoys being petted and having his belly rubbed everyday, he loves playing in water, chasing after little balls with bells in them, and spends time sleeping and looking out of the window at the birds, as well as leaves falling off of the trees while perched up high on his cat tree. 

Cosmo and Luna

We are in love with our new kitties and they are a perfect fit for our house. We named them Cosmo and Luna. They are tolerating the dog and toddler wonderfully and Luna already caught a mouse!

Jaden (now Mikey) and Rocky

Mikey and Rocky are both playing and sleeping together. They love their kitty condo!

Their cat siblings, Mittens and Bonkers were not thrilled by their arrival (or being locked out of mom’s room), but after taking all of the steps to get everyone familiar with smells, introductions were made last night. It went as expected. The girls hissing and the boys just stopped and changed directions to explore the house. Our dog, Bella, is in love and has tried to bathe the boys multiple times and they humor her.

Today was this first day of feeding in the same general vicinity and it went great! The girls still hiss a little bit, but are definitely getting used to their silly brothers.

We are all so in love with our new kittens. They are so smart, cute and fun.

Bailey( now Mimi)

Bailey( now Mimi) is extremely curious, exploring every nook & cranny in the house. She loves chirping away at  the many birds & chipmunks in our yard!  She is acting happy & follows me everywhere....note the 1st pix...she has curled up on the bed & is settling in for the night.

Cosmo

Cosmo and Nellie, our other new cat, are now playing with each other.  They have devised a game of chase and attack.  I don't know how long my office will be able to handle the destruction, but I'm okay with that. Cosmo and Nellie are now extremely close and push each other out of the way of food, but end up eating next to each other. Cosmo is letting me pet him, more and more with or without food.  It's still on his terms.  He is also asking so sweet and polite for me to open the door and let him loose in the house which I would love to do, but we'll have workers here again when the weather dries out. 

Bast and Kvothe

Bast (formerly Leonardo; adopted in September 2016) and Kvothe (formerly Moriarty; adopted in September 2017) have become best buds!!

Simba

Simba has been a great new addition to our home. He has adjusted nicely. He is very friendly, affectionate and very well mannered. We are taking very good care of him. He is well feed and happy. He gets ample play time and attention from all of us. He seems to enjoy watching late night tv with us.

Justine

I adopted Justine from the POA on August 19th, 2017. Nearly 2 month has since passed, and I can say that my family and I have been very pleased and happy to have Justine at our home. She is very playful and constantly walks around the house. Justine particular likes trying to nip at peoples' hands and we quickly realized it was just her wanting something to use to play. We have gotten several toys to keep her occupied when the house is quiet, but she is not alone for more than a few a hours a day. Every day since I brought her home, she has been quick to rub herself against me and my hands upon my return. She prefers to rub herself on a person, rather than being petted. Justine sits next to me, follows me around, etc. Fortunately, she knows that when it's time to sleep, she goes to curl up on a bed stand for her. But if any bedroom doors are open, she'll hop on the bed and sleep where there is space.

Emerson

Just letting you know that Emerson is purring away upstairs in my daughter's room right now.  He was tense when we put him in the car but soon relaxed on the way home.  The loud noise of the neighbor's lawnmower wasn't his favorite, but now that that's done he seems to be in I Just Might Like It Here mode, with lots of cuddling interspersed with exploring.

Cooper (Cuddles) and Cody (Prince)

Cooper (Cuddles) and Cody (Prince) are doing well.  We had a very smooth transition time and they get along great.  So loveable,  enjoying their time together and playing with their toys.  

Maura (now called Fergie)

 Maura is doing amazing. She is now named Fergie. She is the sweetest, and she sleeps next to my head every night. I got her because I had a cat that was depressed after his sister passed away. She seemed like a match personality wise so I went for it. I am glad to say that he is absolutely in love with her. He's always near her, and she very graciously puts up with him. He was having some symptoms of depression that are now completely gone. She fits in perfectly. All of the cats love her and she gets along with them so well. She's been a great addition.

Zeke (formerly Andy)

We adopted our kitten, Zeke (formerly Andy) during the recent Clear the Shelter event. Zeke is doing incredibly well and is meshing with our 6 year old Snoopy. Snoopy has been grooming and playing with the little guy.

Our son loves Zeke and plays with him every day. He is thrilled that Zeke cuddles and seeks him out for attention.

Milton

Everyday we have progress in the right direction. Milton is out with us much of the time, claiming ownership of other areas of our apt - Daddy's bed, Daddy's recliner, etc. Here he is chilling on the living room rug while we watch TV. 

He is such a smart cat and so affectionate. Please tell Manny things are going very well here. 

Boston

Boston is doing fine and dandy.  He's a big boy!!  He loves being petted for sure. I tried having him sleep with me, but he liked waking me up at 2, 3 or 4am, so he doesn't anymore.  Last night was the first night that he didn't.  He meowed just a little bit.  I'm on my laptop right now and he's looking up at me.  He does sit on my Dad's lap a couple of times of day, which makes Dad happy. 

He is so handsome!!! 

Ginger

Just a few pictures of Ginger in her new home! She's gotten used to it very fast! She's eating and sleeping well. It didn't took too long for her to become a little cuddle ball. 

Lola

Lola has quickly become very comfortable in her new home already. She has her spots to snooze and eagerly waits for any one who comes up the stairs to greet her.  Purchased a scratching post with a canopy bed at the top. Well she uses the scratching posts but is much more interested in playing in the box it came in! Brought in some fresh cat mint which she is so funny .. tearing though the hall way at high speed.

Lola is so sweet.. Family and friends that have come over think she is the most adorable kitty.

Besides playing with us .. she enjoys looking out at our birds at the feeders.. and squirrels too..

Benson and Hugo

Benson and Hugo have not had any issues with adjusting to their new home and their new buddy, George! The

y love their new room with a view.... and the rest of the house also.
